Fifth Graders Do Their First Podcast Always start with a script. Improvisation is good, but beginning podcasters need to stick to what they wrote. Find a quiet location if possible. This podcast was recorded in a corner of a very active classroom. There is a lot of background noise. Use of a good microphone is helpful. This podcast was recorded with an older iBook internal mic. This is a great cross-curricular activity!
