The Model for Prayer Matthew 6:9-13 It is the model for prayer that Jesus taught His disciples – cf vs. 5,6,7,8,9 Jesus commanded them, “Pray, then, in this way / manner” Jesus did not pray this prayer The power of prayer is in God, not in the words said.

Conclusions Believers can approach God in prayer with confidence – Hebrews 4:16 God’s child can call Him “abba” We can have complete confidence in God for He never fails
