4 Cover Letter My name’s Lauren Hill. I’m from St. Louis, Missouri, but I moved around a lot growing up. I’ve lived in Houston, Texas and Central and Southern Oregon. Now, I live in Ashland, where I’m a senior at Southern Oregon University. I’m an art major with an emphasis in digital art and design. After graduation, I’d like to move to Seattle, Washington and get a job as a Graphic Designer. MAIN MENU PROJECT MENU

5 A Look At: Grade Level -Senior Major- Art This portfolio is a glimpse at the work I’ve completed in Arnie Abrams’ Intro to Multimedia class. Each piece is consistent with my style of design, which I would consider to be simple and clean. And for the most part, this selection of work is a reflection of me. For instance, my PowerPoint presentation and my website reveal my interest (movies and music), which I like incorporate into most of my artwork. Lauren Hill MAIN MENU

11 Notes - Comments Notes on this Project and/or References: In the second piece, I wanted to learn how to put my own sketch into a photographic background. Teacher Comments: Beautiful work! She has a great eye. Not just a gimmick of cut-and-paste, but actually creates meaningful images.

14 Notes - Comments Notes on this Project and/or References: We used the ESE System for the evaluation form. This was actually four pages, but I only am displaying one page from each. Student Comments: I liked both of these programs. Too bad they are not available any longer.

20 Notes - Comments Notes on this Project and/or References: I had over 20 slides in my show, I’ve only included a few slides in my portfolio. I used screen shots to record the slides. Student Comments: I never knew just how powerful PowerPoint can be for compiling multimedia into a presentation.

Student will have to get signed permission forms from their models. 30 Notes - Comments Notes on this Project and/or References: Working with the Wacom tablet was difficult at first, but then was very powerful -- Lauren Teacher Comments: It should be evident from this work that Lauren is a very talented illustrator.
