5. How we accomplish our goal: Professional Development Corporate Recruitment Research Conferences and Seminars

6. Professional Development Resume Workshop - Critique and review of Resume and Cover letter by Human Resources Department. Will receive a stack of 40+ resumes that illustrate correct format and example(s) of what contents to include. Various corporate recruiters will conduct their own resume reviews following their company presentation. Mock Interviews - Will consists of either a singular or multi-person panel interview. Discuss and ask questions about your decision making, qualifications, weaknesses, previous experiences, community involvement, and moral and ethical situations.

7. Professional Development Stock Market Challenge - Will consists of a year long portfolio challenge, in which each trader will be given $1 Million Dollars to trade in the U.S. stock market. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 places. ‘www.UPDOWN.com’ Smeal Trade Room – Those interested in stock and commodity trading will get a hands on look at how to use and read financial market software. Different software systems include: Bloomberg Terminal, Rotman Portfolio Manager, Reuters Station, Factset and TradeStation.

Research Conferences and Seminars Philadelphia Federal Reserve – Policy Forum Budgets on the Brink: Perspectives on Debt and Monetary Policy Dec 2-3 rd “The Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank’s Research department brings together a group of highly respected academics, policy makers and market economists for a discussion of important macroeconomic and monetary policy issues.” -2 day conference held at the Philadelphia Federal Reserve building -Distinguished guest speakers from various Economic fields -VERY low cost to members, everything but meals included -We will be staying overnight in center city -Nighttime is yours to explore the city

10. Research Conferences and Seminars Washington D.C. Federal Reserve Trip April 6-7 th This is a very rare opportunity for you to sit and meet with some the of topic economic advisors in the United States. This opportunity is exclusively through through EA because of our faculty advisor. This trip is a unique opportunity to participate in a discussion forum about different monetary and fiscal policy’s, with senior Federal Reserve advisors. -Spend a night in District of Colombia near the White House -Discuss policy and regulation reform with senior advisors -VERY low cost to members, everything but meals included -Participate in filming for the Great Debate -Have the nighttime free to explore the city

Dues: Year:$15 Semester:$10 Dues also give you access to our angel page which will have various Economic and Finical articles, Corporate Contact and Events Information, as well as registration information for different events and studies, and trip itinerary and information. Only dues paying members will be able to participate in trips, competitions, corporate recruitment events, and various other activates. If your dues are not paid by 9/21 you will be removed from the listserv.
