Ask and Answer Questions Start with a word like Is, Do, Can, Will, Was, Were, or Did. Give the information in your answer. Present Tense Verb (shows action that is happening now or everyday) Past Tense Verb (shows action that happen earlier or in the past) is do can was/ were did could
