1. Molly’s First Detention By: Liz Anspach

2. One day Molly was in school, she was making a lot of noise.

3. The teacher told her to quiet down but, molly did not listen.

4. So then, she was very quiet. She couldn’t pay attention she was day dreaming out the window.

5. She was sitting there trying to find animals, dinosaurs, flowers in the clouds that she was looking at.

6. But the teacher caught her. And told her to pay attention. Molly was having a very bad day!

7. So, she sat there Bored. And very sad.

8. Something bad happened. She got so bored that she started drawling on the desk.

9. The teacher walked over to molly. Said that’s enough. You have DETENTION after school. You will clean all the desks for your punishment Okay molly.!

10. Molly looked at her very sadly. Said okay Ms. Smith. The rest of the day Molly was quiet.

11. The end of the day came by fast. Molly had a bucket and water and cleaned all the desks.

12. And while she was at it, she cleaned the chalk board too.

13. Ms. Smith walked in and said “well, molly you only had to do the desks”.

14. Molly replied saying I know Ms. smith but I am sorry I was so bad today. And I want you to forgive me..

15. It was quiet.. I do forgive you molly, said Ms. Smith. I hope you learned your lesson molly. Molly replied saying “I did”!

16. Ms Smith sent molly on her way home. Molly skipped down the street with an apple Ms. Smith gave her
