3 What is ESV? Provides employees with opportunities to volunteer, supported by employer: –Paid leave –Team challenges –Pro bono services –Skills-based volunteering –Microvolunteering

4 Benefits for volunteer- involving organisations ESV can help you achieve your aims by: –Reaching more and different volunteers –Utilising specialist skills –Opening up opportunities for new funding/resourcing –Meeting demand from businesses and public sector organisations for community involvement, whilst meeting the needs of your beneficiaries

5 For employers Employers can develop their business by sharing skills/time with community Current decline in cash donations, but increase in ‘in- kind’ donations and time Where cash is donated, employers often also want a more active partnership Employers keen to demonstrate ethical credentials and corporate social responsibility Potential for ESV to improve employee engagement, skills and customer base
