Confucius's works, words are studied by many scholars in many other Asian countries, such as Korea, Japan, Vietnam, etc. And many of those countries still hold the traditional memorial ceremony every year. CONFUCIUS'S QUOTES I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand. It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop. When anger rises, think of the consequences. CONFUCIUS: The founder of Confucianism.

LAOZI: Founder of Daoism Laozi Quotes A leader is best when people barely know he exists, not so good when people obey and acclaim him, worst when they despise him. But of a good leader, who talks little, when his work is done, his aim fulfilled, they will say, 'We did this ourselves.' For the wise man looks into space and he knows there is no limited dimensions. Potential officials throughout Chinese history drew on the authority of non-Confucian sages, especially Laozi and Zhuangzi, to deny serving any ruler at any time. Zhuangzi, Laozi's most famous follower, had a great deal of influence on Chinese literati and culture. Zhuangzi is a central authority regarding eremitism, a particular variation of monasticism sacrificing social aspects for religious aspects of life. Zhuangzi considered eremitism the highest ideal, if properly understood.literaticultureeremitism

Qin Shi Huang remains a controversial figure in Chinese history. Having unified China, he and his chief adviser Li Si passed a series of major reforms aimed at cementing unification, and they undertook some gigantic projects, most notably the precursor version of the current Great Wall of China, a city-sized mausoleum guarded by a life-sized Terracotta Army, and a massive national road system, at the expense of numerous human lives. To ensure stability, he outlawed Confucianism and buried many of its scholars alive, banning and burning all books other than those officially decreedLi SiGreat Wall of ChinamausoleumTerracotta ArmyConfucianism The reason why China suffers bitterly from endless wars is because of the existence of feudal lords and kings. Qin Shi Huang: Quote Qin Shi Huang - First emperor of the Qin Dynasty QIN DYNASTY 221 – 206BC

Liu Bang – Started the Han Dynasty After Liu Bāng came into power, he re-centralised China based on Qín's model. Since the economy had been devastated by the war following the demise of the Qín Dynasty, he reduced taxes and developed agriculture and restricted spending. However, in response to what he saw as the decadence of Qín merchants, he restricted commerce by levying heavy taxes and legal restrictions on merchants. He also made peace with the Xiongnu.Xiongnu HAN DYNASTY (The Greatest Dynasty) 202 BC – 220AD

The empire that Emperor Wu created surpassed in size the contemporaneous Roman Empire, and was the greatest in the world, both militarily and economically. His other, perhaps greater, legacy was the promotion of Confucianism. Just like Qin Shi Huang he used a legalist system of rewards and punishments to govern his empire. The punishment for perceived failures and disloyalty was often exceedingly harsh Roman Empire Confucianismlegalist Han Wudi – Emperor during Han Dynasty that drove the Xiongnu back
