1. Robin’s Away Dates Robin will be away on the following dates: 5-30 August. Come and join the cell group team! On Wednesday evenings in term time a great bunch of young people from across our local churches gather at the Methodist Centre to explore faith, hang out and generally have a good time! We're looking for adults to come alongside them and support them in small groups as they chat and think about faith. It's our annual swim and barbecue at Michael and June Flowers' house, and is always a popular event! Swimming starts at 6.30pm in their indoor heated pool and food is from around 7.30pm. We provide meat and fish and a veggie option. Please bring either a salad or dessert according to your surname, and there will be a bowl for financial contributions on the evening (approx £3 for adults and £2 for children). We heard on Monday that the Government Minister in Nepal signed off the agreement for our organisation's work. Hallelujah! This means that we can now start applying for our visas. That still takes a bit of time and will mean that we are slightly delayed in our return and miss some weeks of school, but it is great to know that things are moving forward. Please keep praying though as there are two separate agreements and the other one has not yet been signed. Until it is, around half of our expatriate mission personnel will not be able to return to Nepal. One other practical need we have is for a car. We have to return the one that we have been using by 12 August and it would be great to have use of a vehicle [that fits 6 people!] for a few weeks after that.
