Page 4--Energy Sticky Note #1: These are 2 things I learned about force and motion: Sticky Note #2: Three forms of energy I learned about were….. We use this energy to ……. Sticky Note #3: Explain how you built and electric circuit and how it worked. Explain how you transformed electrical energy in to light, heat, and sound energy during your circuit investigation. Sticky Note #4: Compare and contrast thermal and sound energy. Sticky Note #5: Describe what you learned about light energy, such as the way light interacts with different surfaces, (opaque, transparent, translucent; absorb, reflect, refract) lenses (concave and convex), and prisms. Give some examples.

Page 5 – Space Science Sticker 1: Explain how the sun, earth, and moon system works. Sticker 2: Describe what you learned about the moon and its effects on planet earth. (make sure you add something about the moon phases.) Sticker 3: Compare and contrast a solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse. Sticker 4: What was your favorite thing you learned about during our space science study? Explain why this your favorite.

Page 6-Earth Science Sticker 1: Write what you learned about what you learned about changes to the Earth’s surface from forces below the crust such as: -Plate tectonics -Pangaea -earthquakes -volcanoes, etc. Sticker 2:Write what you learned about forces that cause changes to the Earth’s surface such as: -Wind, water, ice -weathering, erosion, deposition -constructive and destructive forces Sticker 3:Write about what you learned about properties of soil. Use your notes from your soil absorption experiment to tell what you did and what you learned about soils. Sticker 4:Choose at 2 landforms that you learned about and explain what the land form is and how it is formed. (example-One landform I learned about what a mountain. Mountains are formed when 2 tectonic plates diverge at a fault line and push up the earth’s crust.)

Page 7-Life Science Sticker 1: Choose 2 different animals and compare and contrast their life cycles. (example: rabbit and a butterfly; or a frog and a human). You may create labeled diagrams if you would like. Sticker 2: Explain what you learned about inherited traits and learned behavior. What is an inherited trait and behavior? What is a learned behavior. Sticker 3: Write about what you learned about adaptations. Explain some of the plant and animal adaptations that you learned about that helps living organism survive in their environment (camouflage, mimicry, plant roots and spines, animal beaks, fur, etc.) and how these animals use these adaptations to meet their needs. Sticker 4: Explain what you learned about food chains/webs. Explain what predators and prey are in a food chain. Identify which living organism in a food chain is the produce and consumer. Sticker 5: Tell about one biome you learned about. What is the climate, what animals live there, what types of plants grow there, why did you choose this biome to write about?
