5. KEY FINDINGS The Economic Impact of golf tourism for Wales is: 2013 = £38,000,000 2014 = £37,900,000 2015 = £41,200,000 The number of golfing visitors to Wales is: 2013 = 196,000 2014 = 218,000 2015 = 227,000 5 © SPORTS MARKETING SURVEYS INC. 2015 = Overnights - 81,000 & Day visitors - 148,000

Overall Summary The Economic Impact of golf tourism for Wales in 2015 including domestic Welsh visitors is: £41,200,000 The number of golf travellers visiting Wales has increased: 229,000 Over the past 12 years, since 2004, the TOTAL EXPENDITURE generated through golf tourism to Wales is: £392,200,000 The number of golfing visits to Wales during this time has been: 2,159,000 (N.B - includes repeat visitors) 6

7. Finally 7 Golfers spend more per head than other visitors to Wales. Golf in Wales is a value for money proposition with great golf courses. The Monitor provided a strong argument for investment in golf in Wales. Keep the faith, keep Wales fantastic for golf.
