Biotechnology Learn how the systems of the human body work Learn about the environment and environmental issues How to grow plants in a hydroponic greenhouse w/o soil

CNC Lathe Discusses the history of computer numerical control and the industry standard codes used in CNC systems. Students utilize the Cartesian coordinate system as they learn how to write code, set up a machine, and produce a part to specifications.

CNC Mill Covers the history of CNC machines and the industry standard codes used in CNC systems. Students acquire a better understanding of geometry and the Cartesian coordinate system as they read a drawing, write control code, set up a machine, and produce a part to specification.

Computer Aided Drafting Start with the basics, learning how to use drawing tools, edit commands, and modify objects Then progress to fully dimensioned, multi- view drawings. Uses AutoCAD 2000

Computer Animation Study the history of animation Gain knowledge of animation procedures through the use of text material, computer software, and hands-on activities. Make your own animations using 3-D Choreographer

Computer Applications Study a brief history of computers and are introduced to the keyboard, mouse, and other input devices. Students also learn precautions and safety information pertaining to computers.

Computer Game Development In this module, students explore game development using Multimedia Fusion. Designed as an introduction to game technology, Students learn how to build their own computer game from the ground up.

Computer Special Effects Students use powerful software to learn the basic techniques of special effects such as morphing, caricaturing, and warping. Students also get a sense of how a wide variety of professionals work behind the scenes to create magical characters and scenery in videos and movies.
