Environmentally friendly online continuing education for public health professionals/practitioners in English & French Based on adult learning principles Easily accessible online + meet WCAG 2.0 standards Asynchronous Facilitated courses (13): 8 week sessions = 25-40 hours of work >Teams of 8 – 18 inter-professional learners >PHAC trained facilitators (public health practitioners) Self-directed courses (4) Content that reflects current, relevant public health practice in Canada Content that is mapped to the Core Competencies for PH in Canada: Release 1.0 (http://www.phac-aspc.gc.ca/core_competencies) 6 SKILLS ONLINE: DYNAMIC CONTINUING EDUCATION
