2 FACTS ABOUT EGYPT The capital is Cairo The animals are crocodiles, egrets, gazelles, frogs, hippos and lots more Man made structures are pyramids, Temple of Luxor, and Philae Island The population is 63,344,000 The countries that border are Libya, Sudan, Jordan, and Israel

3 KING TUT King Tut is a famous person of Egypt He was born in 1304 At age 19 in 1323 King Tut he died King Tut married his stepsister He became part of a pharaoh at the age of nine When he died people didn’t know what he looked and had to figure it out

4 FACTS ABOUT EGYPT The continent of Egypt is Africa The area (square miles) is 386,662 Important landforms are the Sahara Desert, Nile River, and the Nubian Desert Natural Resources are Petroleum, gas, Iron, phosphates, and Limestone The currency is called the pound Coins are available in 5,10,20,25, and 50 piasters
