18 GS Financial Resources  Chancellor’s Doctoral Incentive Program  For those in or beginning PhD programs who might return to enter CSU faculty  Loan program: $10,000 per year at 5% per year interest rate over 15-year period; maximum $30,000  Forgivable  No limit to number; generally up to 10 per institution  Application quality (long essay), demonstrated interest in teaching at CSU, mentor recommendations, plan with mentor, field of doctoral study
