Why InnoFlue ® ? The only polymeric vent system listed to both UL-1738 and ULC-S636 for combustion gas venting of category II and IV appliances Specifically designed as a gas vent for oil, propane and gas fired appliances Unprecedented 10-year limited warranty Made of 100% recyclable polypropylene

Common Push Back and Rebuttals PVC is cheaper The total cost of installation using PVC is not cheaper. Gasketed SS was more expensive and still widely excepted. Shark bite was not a cost savor My Customers are not asking for Polypropylene Lets schedule a joint meeting with your largest contractors and see what they think? Contractors consistently tell me “I could have used this months ago” after being introduced to InnoFlue® I’ve never seen PVC sag/discolor/etc. Keep a folder with pictures of failed PVC systems. (your regional manager can provide these photos) I’ll bring it in when the code dictates it What's your aversion to making money now? Centrotherm provides a product that still allows you to make a margin (most customers are making 30%). What is your current margin on PVC?

(2) The piping shall be installed in accordance with the piping manufacturer's instructions and the conditions of its listing. (3) The appliance shall be listed for use with such venting materials (4) The appliance manufacturer's installation instructions shall identify the specific type of plastic piping material to be used. 12.5.4 Special Gas Vents. Special gas vents shall be listed and labeled in accordance with UL 1738, Venting Systems for Gas Burning Appliances, Categories II, III and IV, and installed in accordance with the special gas vent manufacturer's installation instructions. Submitter Information Verification Submitter Full Name: Laura Montville Submittal Date: Wed Oct 14 16:52:13 EDT 2015 Committee Statement Committee Statement: The code is revised to require all venting products to be listed. The thorough evaluation required by UL 1738 will ensure that the products used as venting materials are intended by the manufacturers for that purpose

Common Misconceptions Only Black pipe can be used outdoors False all InnoFlue® products are approved for outdoor use per UL It is ok to refer to Polypropylene as polypro for short We should never refer to Polypropylene as polypro. Polypro is our competitors trade name. Using the slang polypro inadvertently send contractors to our competition. Instead say InnoFlue or Centrotherm, NEVER POLYPRO. You only need to use InnoFlue® for the first 10’ Thermal expansion takes place at all portions of the vent system. InnoFlue® is never to be mixed with other materials.
