1 August 2016 LCCU Meeting We’ll answers members’ questions: –What should you do after upgrading to Windows 10? –How do you synch your phone’s photos to your PC using Dropbox? –What should you look for in a website builder for a personal site? –How do you stop videos auto-playing in a browser? –How can you put lots of pictures on Facebook?

2 August 2016 LCCU Meeting After Windows 10 Upgrade –Check for updates and control their delivery: Settings>”Updates & Security”>Advanced Options>”Choose how updates are delivered”. Either turn off or select “PCs on my local network”. –Check Notification Area, icon at bottom right of taskbar for things you may need to do. –Check that your anti-virus software is running. –Adjust Wi-Fi Sense: Settings>Network & Internet>Manage WiFi Settings. Turn them off.

Customize Start Menu Add Document and Pictures above File Explorer Personalize, Start, “Choose which folders appear on Start”. Add tiles for favorite desktop programs right-click program in “All Apps”, select “Pin to Start”.
