2. The goal… As consumers who need energy for electricity, heating and cooling our homes, transportation and so much more, we need to understand our options for sources of energy!

3. Renewable or nonrenewable? That is the question! There are good points (advantages) and bad points (disadvantages) to each kind of energy source!

4. Your task… You will be in a group. You will research a source of energy that is assigned to your group. Prepare a Google slide presentation to teach us about your kind of energy, with bullet points of information for classmates to take notes from. Prepare a creative extension to help us remember your source of energy, such as a song, rap, actions/movements, mnemonic, etc. Presentations are short – about 5-6 minutes each.

5. Timeline Today: Meet with group and get energy source assigned to group. Visit websites on the class webpage. Collect information in your chart for YOUR energy source. Begin preparing your Google slide presentation, using the template on the class webpage. Tomorrow: First half of class - finish presentation. Prepare creative extension. Begin presentations. Third day: Present information, teach the class your creative extension.
