2. The front entrance to the historic building, built in 1905 by Henry Bacon.

3. The entrance to the Children’s Room. Imagine a stroller, let alone a person with mobility issues, using this entrance.

4. An elevator that opens outside, but requires a key. A door without outside steps.

5. There is a section of the desk that is designed to be ADA compliant, but there is a barrier in the way.

6. ADA compliant? I’m not sure how that door would qualify.

7. But, the actual restrooms are ADA compliant.

8. The ramp, designed in the 1970’s to be ADA compliant. Railings have been broken off and, the slope to the right is too steep.

9. The ramp to the lower level, which is used for meetings.

10. It has been determined that they are not wide enough and the vestibule is too narrow to be retrofitted for ADA compliance.

11. Lovely historical doors on a former bank building, but very difficult to open.

12. Stairs to the mezzanine, where the children’s materials are housed.

13. Stairs to the basement meeting space, where the only public bathroom is located.
