4. CURRENTLY Kenyatta University The undergraduate degree program in Biomedical Engineering has started & they have plans to establish a Nairobi Town Campusprobably by Sept 2014 or Jan 2015. Mt. Kenya University Offering Diploma. in Medical Engineering. They also have plans to establish a degree program but is yet to take off.

Egerton University Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology (the institution temporarily stopped the program due to difficulties in obtaining recognition & eventual registration of their students by the Engineers Registration Board, ERB).
