National Crew Contract It is an actual contract not an agreement Mandatory Availability Period (MAP) for Pacific Northwest is 7/15-8/30 They are paid a specific amount for each crew during that availability. Location of crew must be within 50 miles of host dispatch center. They are on a true rotation not a DPL.

12. AK-DNR Crews Alaska has 3 Type 1 Crews ◦ 2 are managed by AFS and 1 by DOF T2IA Crews 5 ◦ 4 sponsored by DOF and 1 by USFS ◦ Host area is priority response by may be reassigned to higher priority fires by DOF or AICC.

13. AK-DNR Crews Type 2 Agency Crews ◦ Alaska sponsors 1 interagency crew composed of more than one agency. Type 2 EFF Crews ◦ There are 42 village/communities which can supply crews on the Alaska Statewide EFF crew rotation. 18-20 personnel

17. 2015 Region 6 VIPR Resource use VIPR Resource Utilization Total tactical resource Utilization – 5084 Orders for 55,438 Days on Incident Engine Utilization – 3170 Orders for 29,990 Days on Incident VIPR Vendors Region 6 has a current total of 937 Vendors for 2655 pieces of equipment. There are about 7000 employees, 3500 of them work for Water Handling Vendors.
