2. Why evaluate? Pre-testing To establish their current curriculum level. So you don’t re- teach what they are good at. To gather information about how to teach your students and how they prefer to learn. Post-testing To see how students have performed. To evaluate your own teaching.

3. Ways to evaluate? Surveys – hard copy/electronically Tests – hard copy/electronically Questionnaires Performance Conversation/dialogue Assessment tasks Antidotal evidence – class observation Sport – beep test.

4. Benefits of electronic evaluation Can manipulate the data Stored easily Can come back to and compare against each other in charts, spreadsheets etc.
