2 Shading Skills Shading Exercises Follow the instructions, using coloured pencils Shade the square with a dark outline, and the centre lighter in the same colour... Now shade the clover in the same way... Shade the square with a dark outline, and fade from dark on the left to light on the right in the same colour... Now shade the arrow in the same way... Shade the square with a dark outline, and fade to light towards the centre in the same colour... Now shade the beach ball in the same way... Now shade the worm in the same way... Shade the tube with a dark outline, and fading from light close to the light to dark further from the light in the same colour... Now shade the lightning bolt in the same way... Shade the square with a dark outline, and blend from one colour on the left to a different colour on the right... Now shade the puddle in the same way... Shade the square with a dark outline, and fade diagonally dark to light, to dark to light, etc, in the same colour... Now shade the spanner in the same way... Shade the square with a grey outline, and fade a thin red and blue horizontal line to the top and bottom...
