Kobo is based on Open Data Kit (ODK), which is a series of "open source" tools that help organizations create, implement and manage data collection solutions on mobile devices (Android) in access constrained settings and submit these data to an online server. The collection is possible without an Internet or mobile connection. Allows to set up questionnaires which will be used to create a database. It is possible to have an item on geolocation, which will use the data in a GIS; but this is not mandatory. What is Kobo tool?
