In our topic work we have looked a love poetry and also the story of Peseus and the Gorgon’s head: writing our own narratives of the story. Year 5 and 6 have a story to write for homework this week- get them to read their completed stories to you! This week we have continued our work on castles. In PE we are learning how to dance to some medieval music. Lords and ladies danced like this when they went to feasts and banquets in the great hall of a castle. In literacy we have written some good quality sentence captions to go with pictures of parts of a castle. Some of our best words were – protected, narrow, sharp, pointed, enemy, solid and strong.
