4 The Bad Huge Casualties Not good for a country that has been trying to increase its population. Cost a lot of money! In order to pay for the war, Canada had to turn to: –Income tax –Victory Bonds –Borrowing

5 Bad continued Halifax Disaster: Collision of two ships produced the largest explosion the world would see until the first atomic bomb. Killed between 2 and 3 thousand and hurt 10,000 more. Destroyed much of the city.
