Assignment Length of assignment: 2,500 words (+/- 10%), excluding references and appendices Length of dissertation: 15,000 words (+/- 10%), excluding references and appendices Oral presentation (MAAL6037 Advanced Research Methods

Assignment Submit to Turnitin (a plagiarism software) for plagiarism check Softcopy submitted to Turnitin on the due date first and then hand in the hard copy to the Programme Office during office hours (9:00 am to 5:30 pm) in three days’ time Marked assignments will be returned in four weeks’ time A feedback form with teacher’s comments will be attached to the marked assignment Three grades: Distinction, Pass, Fail

Re-assessment Re-assessment is required for any failed assignment and dissertation Failed dissertation – be given one year for re- assessment Failed assignment – re-submit in a month’s time

Examination results Access the ‘Student Connect’ in HKU intranet to check and print the online results
