2 What is Microsoft Publisher? desktop publishing program designed by Microsoft for use on its Windows operating system platform offers features that enable a user to design various publications, such as newsletters and brochures, with relative ease application that allows users to design page layouts in a variety of capacities differs from other publishing and design software in that its emphasis is on entry-level usage. Publisher is usually used together with Microsoft Word, which allows for proper text composition and proofing that can then be imported into the program.
