1.With your partner, view another pair’s video recorded interview. 2.Review their Thinking Map and recording. 3.Skype pair having a conversation about a pretend week at camp – include competitions, mess tent, mucking, and next year’s activities. 4.Pretend you are interviewing each pair as a segment on a morning news show. 5.“A Royal Mystery” Blackboard Discussion board – How did each girl grow beyond her perceived limits? Include a self-imposed limit that you have faced and how you are overcoming it. Compare and Contrast 1.Review comparisons and contrasts of both characters in “A Royal Mystery”. 2.Go to http://www.readwritethink.org/files/resources/interactives/cube _creator http://www.readwritethink.org/files/resources/interactives/cube _creator and create an individual cube for both main characters showing similarities and differences. 3. Upon completion, create a video giving a step by step tutorial on the steps for completion. (cube) 4. Load the video on my Blackboard site under the “A Royal Mystery” discussion board. “A Royal Mystery” Production 1.Review story, “A Royal Mystery.” 2.Present cubes along with Thinking Maps – in pairs 3.Groups who skyped each other (groups of 4) create a production with sound effects and music. You may use Educreations or iMovie. 4. Use the code ___ for Todays Meet and offer constructive criticism beginning with a compliment. 5. Post your videos to Blackboard under the “A Royal Mystery” discussion board. 6. View videos and critique a student that is not in your class.
