Three levels of certification: General Certification Advanced Certification League of Distinguished Certified Leaders The Leadership Certification Program provides students with the opportunity to further develop their leadership skills outside of the classroom in a co-curricular capacity.

Tri-C believes that a strong and competitive athletic program enhances student life. Sports programs are attractive to potential students and an integral part of a student's educational experience. The athletic program helps create an institutional identity in the surrounding community and brings regional and national recognition to the College. The Metro Campus offers men’s basketball, women’s cross country, and women’s track.

Student Newspaper Recognition Ms. Melissa Swafford Student Life Coordinator

The purpose of the student newspaper is to inform the student body of a wide variety of issues concerning students as well as the campus community. The newspaper provides a forum for the dissemination of information, and an educational forum through which aspiring journalists and other interested students can learn about the profession of journalism.

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) recognizes and encourages scholarship among two-year college students. PTK provides opportunities for the development of leadership and service, an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, lively fellowship for scholars, and stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.

Senators develop and improve institutional standards and practices, promote academic freedom and civic engagement, protect students’ rights, and educate the student body on local, state and national education policies.

PTK’s All-Ohio program is a prestigious academic honor. Nominees show superb intellectual rigor, and demonstrate academic, leadership and civic growth. The program also recognizes students who extend their community college education to better themselves, their schools and their surrounding communities.
