The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation is a Portuguese private institution of public utility, created in 1956, according to the last will of its Founder. Has a perpetual character and its purposes are Charity-Based, Artistic, Educational and Scientific. The activity of the Foundation, according to the statutes, is not necessarily limited to Portugal. 2
