6  Students will have something interesting to write about  Students will be able to see, think, and write about the topic  Students will be able to share their writing

7  Will the students be able to write more than three sentences when given an engaging topic to write about?  Will they be able to share with each other and help one another develop and expand their topics?  What would I have changed if I did this lesson again?

8  Picture how you see yourself when you are older, take some time before you begin to write  Where are you?  What are you doing?  Do you have a family and kids?  What kind of work do you do?

9  Go ahead and write but don’t forget to show me what you will look like  You may talk quietly with your neighbor about your ideas  You can use classmates names if you ask them  You can be 65 if want  Consider how much 6 kids will cost?

10  Students often share the worst parts of their lives in their writing  I have sorted out some of the harder to read stories  Let’s see what they had to say!

19  Always ask for volunteers  Get the kids to share with 1 to 3 classmates  Remember: The Noah to Michael Rule

20  Amanda this is for you!  Picture in you mind what your life will be like when you are about to retire  Are you still teaching?  Do you long for another profession?  Do you want a secret life!  What are you waiting for? Let’s Write!

21  After sharing what would you have changed about your papers?  After teaching this lesson, I would ask my class to reflect on their own work  Finally I would ask them to give me two new ideas in their papers
