Vangstad Summary of Progress: Working on an 18-page punch list, with work to include: Doors/door hardware Vangstad curtains Paint touch-ups

City Flood Protection Project Summary of Progress: On-campus work is done until Spring 2016- at this time work will begin in front of Foss Hall. Viking Drive- Due to the weather, they will not be pouring the curb, gutter, or street- this will wait until spring. For now they will be filling everything in with gravel. The street is expected to open at the end of the month.

Heat Plant Replacement Summary of Progress: MTI was hired to do the soil testing- we will wait for these results before house demolition begins. Working on getting the contracts for asbestos/lead testing in the houses. Working on pricing out boilers/equipment. Working on design/footprint on building to reduce cost.

Project Updates Vangstad: Working on an 18-page punch list, with work to include: Doors/door hardware, Vangstad curtains, and Paint touch-ups Flood Wall: Work is in full swing in front of Foss. They will be pile-driving next to the building for the rest of the week- we will be doing vibration monitoring to help eliminate damage to the building. Heat Plant: The last house was removed yesterday. The rest of the project is currently out for bid.

Project Updates Wellness Center: Due to the new road that will be put in on the east side, we will be losing the storage bins along the river (Kevin has been working to clean them out so they can be removed when the time comes). Athletics Project: The following sub-projects will be completed: FH FB Locker Room, FH Gym Floor, FH Egress Walkway, FH Hall of Fame Room, GRA Hallway, GRA Weight Room, GRA Locker Rooms. We are pushing to have the GRA projects wait until the Fall/Winter. HPE will move out sometime in September when the Wellness Center is complete.

Project Updates McFarland Reconfiguration: McFarland 319- becoming 2 offices, lounge moving to 132 temporarily (131A will be used for storage). 132 & 131A will be moving to 136 210 moving to 208A, 208A moving to Vangstad 019, 139 moving to 210, new marketing position will be in 208. These moves will be coordinated to happen all at one time and we will send out instructions and a calendar invite when we have everything arranged. 139 will become the new employee lounge in the future. McFarland 2 nd Floor Painting: In progress.

Project Updates Circle Hall Elevator: In progress. Expected to be completed after Memorial Day Holiday. Student Center Upper Lounge: Project will start on Monday and is expected to take 3-4 weeks. Project will include a handicap ramp, new ceiling tiles and lights. Student Center Other: Will be replacing a heating coil and water tank this summer. McFarland Stabilization: Project is being bid out. Secured Hayward Baker to do the stabilization, working on concrete work now. Will need to get prices for the demo and reconstruction of the corner classroom that will be affected.

Solutions Put more emphasis on using the FAMIS Self-Service- easy to follow guide. Do not complete work until you have received a work order. Provide FS information during welcome week. Wesley is working to get FS on the Staff Senate Open Forum agenda. Provide a building fact sheet to new employees. This will be a summer project for the office. Refocus the Beautification Committee. Done. Develop and publish FS standards. In Progress Analyze square footage to staff ratio. In Progress

Completed Projects Lighting: Installed 7 fixtures along Viking Drive and one in the back alley. Field House Accreditation: Wick completed this project over break. Painting was done, and carpet and shelving was installed. Student Center Kitchen Ceiling: Wick completed this project over break. The lighting in the area has been greatly improved! Theatre 320: Light fixtures were installed by PH staff during the last week of break.
