1. PTA SCHOOL GROUNDS PROJECT
Well done everyone, since spring 2013 we have raised
£14,400.29
to update the outside play spaces!

2. The funds have bought:
A playframe for the juniors - £4660
A make over of the infant playarea - £6095, including astroturf, teepees, willow dome & seating
A professional masterplan of the project - £950
The PTA would like you to decide what to improve next…….

3. Shall we work on The Wood, an adventure space, at the moment it looks like this
But the plan includes:
a tiered astroturf seating area for watching whats happening on the court….
a train track path weaving through the woods, complete with a willow tunnel and a woodland station platform…
lots of logs and stumps for playing balancing games….
a covered seating area….
a low ropes course in the trees….
new wildlife friendly shrubs around the fences.

4. Or would you like The Hedge area to become a terrific trail

There would be tunnels over sections of the path…
A branch tepee area, with crates and logs for construction…
amphitheatre style seating
A log edged digging pit…
new benches for seating and balancing…
Wildlife friendly planting…
a roundhouse for picnics, chats or even outdoor lessons!

5. So would you like us to work on THE WOOD or THE HEDGE, it’s time to vote. Staff and children please submit your votes for The Wood and The Hedge to Mr Brown. Parents please with The Hedge or The Wood in the subject box, by Friday 27th March. The results will be announced at the PTA AGM on Monday 30th March at 8pm in the school hall.
