4 GENERAL : MUNTINLUPA is one of the 17 localities which comprises the Metropolitan Manila Area. It consist of 9 Barangay’s from north to south namely; Brgy. Sucat, Buli, Cupang,Alabang, Ayala Alabang, Bayanan, Putatan, Poblacion and Tunasan which are all lying along the shoreline of Laguna de Bay, except for Ayala Alabang, situated on the western portion of the city. 5 Rationale : The frequent disasters and calamities visiting our country create interruptions in our daily activities, prompting us private institutions and the LGU to develop a contingency plan. Contingency Plans is necessary especially for those who are at risk and prone to hazards. The plan aims to lessen the undesirable effect to both lives and properties.
