3 Speaker Profiles Alfred Sek Alfred Sek is a qualified Chartered Financial Consultant from The American College, Senior Associate member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and Registered Financial Planner from Malaysian Financial Planning Council. He has more than 30 years experience within the financial services industry and has spoken in various platform covering subjects like Risk Management, Financial Planning Best Advice Practice and other related field. Karen Lee Karen has started her career as a Professional Estate Planner with Rockwills since 1999. She obtained full licences with Securities Commission and Bank Negara since 2007 and started her licenced practice since then. Besides holding a Capital Market Services Representative License (CMSRL) from the Securities Commission and Financial Advisor’s Representative license from Bank Negara Malaysia, Karen also holds CFP, RFP and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics. Karen was previously an ISO accredited auditor and also held position as Lecturer with local higher institution. With her many years of experience in both corporate and private sectors, she founded Karen Lee & Associates Sdn. Bhd. and she is the Principal Advisor to the company. The company is currently taking care of more than 4,000 clients. Karen manages the assets of high profile clients, successful business people and professionals through very structured estate planning approach and comprehensive financial planning. She is well sought after with her ability to structure complex estate planning models for her clients in both Business Succession Planning and Wealth Preservation Planning. Karen has received many top awards in the field of estate planning which include 9 times Rockwills President Award, the highest award accorded to an Estate Planner in Rockwills. Pheonne Leong Bachelor Degree in Public Management, UUM 2002 Pheonne had 3 years marketing experience in project management and over 7 years’ experience in the insurance industry with a history of being awarded for goal attainment. She join a Financial Advisory firm as Financial Planner in 2014, as Northern Team Leader since 2015, she manage recruit 30 over new members for the team in first 6 months and she had vast experiences in financial planning, coaching, training, public speaking and PRS Benjamin Poh Benjamin graduated from USM with Bachelor Degree of Accounting and was a scholar of PROTON. He is an Excellent Award Winner of Module 1 CFP. With 5 years of experience in financial planning since his time as an Intern with Financial Advisory firm. He specialises in providing holistic financial planning solutions to clients ranging from age 25 to 50. He is proven with good self discipline and communication skill during his practice as a Licensed Financial Advisor. Hoe Seng Foon Hoe is a Registered Financial Planner ® (RFP). In addition, he has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. Prior to joining Whitman, Hoe has over 15 years’ experience in financial service industry. Currently, he holds Capital Market Services Representative License (CMSRL) from the Securities Commission and Financial Advisor’s Representative license from Bank Negara Malaysia. Hoe joined a Financial Advisory firm in 2009 and follows a structured and result oriented approach to financial advice. He helps clients across a broad base of professional spectrums: senior executives, professionals and retirees make smart, strategic decisions with their money so they can meet their financial and lifestyle goals.
