| 4 Sustainability criteria. To be implemented by 5 December 2010. Apply also to the same fuels used in power and heat sector (‘bioliquids’). Have to be met in order to: » To receive incentives (EU Member States’ financial support or obligations put on suppliers) » Count toward the targets (10% and the ‘20%’). Single EU scheme » Applies to both EU production and imports » EU Member States cannot set additional criteria* * Very limited scope for exceptions to this
