© Crown copyright Met Office Updating Technical Manuals (added during meeting) Following this morning’s discussion I propose the following: ET-SBO-1 will develop updates for WMO No. 544 Manual on the GOS (particularly on AWS & Wx Radars), which will follow the usual CBS approvals process. A set of updates will be produced for approval by ICT-IOS in early 2014 and a second set will be produced for approval by ICT-IOS in early 2016. ET-SBO-1 will review the technical drafts for the WIGOS Manual produced so far by IPET WIFI SG-RM and others and provide comments / suggestions / input for its improvement by October 2013. ET-SBO-1 may develop new material that would not normally be included in the Manual on the GOS, timeframe to be decided.
