4 Accessing Online Reports During Fall 2016, all online reports can be accessed through PearsonAccess Next under Reports. minnesota.pearsonaccessnext.com 4

5 Online Reporting On-Demand Reports – Preliminary results available during the testing window. Longitudinal Reports – Results loaded to the system for districts to analyze trends and patterns over time. Data Exports – Downloadable exports of on-demand or longitudinal data at an organization level. Published Reports – PDF versions of final paper reports available to districts a few days prior to paper delivery. 5

7 Role-Based Access for Users Role-based access for districts, schools, and teachers keeps student information secure. ●District users will have access to all students in their district. ●School users will have access to all students in their school(s). ●Teachers will have access to only their students (via reporting groups). Teachers should be assigned the Test Monitor / Data Entry user role in PearsonAccess Next. 7

9 Reporting Groups Updates for 2016-17 ●Students can be placed in multiple reporting groups. ●Same Reporting Groups for On-Demand and Longitudinal Reports. ●Longitudinal Reports transitioning to PearsonAccess Next. ●Reporting Groups created for OLPA to be rolled forward to MCA. New beginning with OLPA administration: 9

10 Why do I Need to Create Reporting Groups? Prior to teachers accessing results for their students, Reporting Groups need to be created and linked to appropriate teachers ●Reporting Groups do not need to be created prior to testing ●Students can be assigned to multiple reporting groups ●Multiple teachers can be assigned to a single reporting group ●Teachers can be assigned to multiple reporting groups Purpose: Reporting Groups provide teachers with access to On-Demand and Longitudinal Reports for their students. 10

14 Updates to On-Demand Reports for OLPA Performance level data at strand-level to provide more precise information about student performance. ●Available on On-Demand Export New filters to allow quicker access to student data by performance. ●Adding Performance Level filter ●Adding filter criteria information to Student List Report (pdf) Alphabetical sorting to locate individual student results faster. ●Reports sorted alphabetically by last name on the On-Demand Home Page Enhancements for MCA ●Display more than 350 students in the Student List Reports ●Performance level data at strand-level on Student Detail Reports 14

15 What are On-Demand Reports? On-Demand Reports allow access to preliminary results in the following reports: ●Student Detail Reports (PDF) ●Student List Reports (PDF) ●Student List Report Excel 15

16 When Are On- Demand Reports Available? Student results are available within one hour of a student submitting a test. 17 On-Demand Reports Search Functionality From the On-Demand Reports screen, users have the flexibility to search and filter information. ●To search for a single student, enter the student’s name or MARSS/SSID in the Find Student Tests field, click Search. ●To look for multiple students, use the filter to narrow your results by Organization Name, Group, Test Name, or Grade. ●New for OLPA: Performance Level Filter 17

23 What are Longitudinal Reports? Longitudinal Reports provide analysis of results from a specific administration, multiple administrations within a year, or assessment results from year to year. ●Drill-down, filtering, and sorting capabilities ●Aggregate and disaggregate data to individual student-level results ●District, school, and teacher access to student results 23

24 What Longitudinal Reports are Available?
