Mass Mass: the measurement of How Much matter is in an object Units = grams (kg mg)

Weight is defined as the force of gravity on an object. Your weight can change if the force of gravity changes. Ex: 100 lbs on Earth = 16.5 lbs on the moon (6x less gravity on the moon) Ex: 100 kg on Earth = 100 kg on the moon (mass is not affected by gravity)

Steps to use TBB 1.All known masses to the left. Balance at Zero 2.Add the object 3.Move known masses until pointer is back to zero a. Start with 2 larger masses b. Use small mass to accurately measure to the nearest 0.1g c. Add up all 3
