Cheyenne lived near the Mississippi River in Minnesota. Also the Cheyenne lived in South Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska, Colorado, and Kansas.

Lived in earth lodges, teepees, and huts.

The Cheyenne were great buffalo hunters.

The Cheyenne grew corn, beans, and squash.

The Cheyenne were known for leather working, wood working, quill working, feather working,and stone carving.

Cheyenne have a large feast and all who attend have to wear a promise shirt and if they don’t they are considered a demon of the Cheyenne.

Chiefs Fat Bear, Big Head, and Dull Knife.

On march 20 1869 these three Cheyenne chiefs were captured by General Custer. To be traded for two woman the Cheyenne captured.
