GUIDELINES The “learning objectives” put together form the conceptual course syllabus The “implementation” involve tasks, which when completed, leads to prototypes of the basic products developable within the course The “resources” form a collection of various multi-modal resources including the breakthrough papers in the area

Novice user The “concepts-videos” when concatenated form a lecture-based course The “illustration” forms an (animated) e- workbook with solved examples The “playground” forms a virtual workshop for the course

Intermediate-Expert user The “analysis” form detailed versions of the “truths” in the course (like mathematical proofs) The “insights” trace the literature’s evolution leading to the entire course The “imagination” is about the research/idea ‘explosion’ aftermath of the concept/course

Current status AI based Automatic test evaluation (100% done) – Research completed and published – Prototype tool developed and validated in TAC 2010 (NIST USA) competition as well Principles of Information Security (90% done) – Completed content development – Expected completion by end February 2011 Data structures (60% done) – Completed 60% content development – Expected completion by end February 2011

Teacher Training Why Teacher Training? – Non-availability of good faculty – Availability of good content does not automatically imply use Teacher training is required – One size does not fit all Personalization and Customization – Limited/Poor infrastructure facilities

Teacher Training What is delivered? – 10 courses with content as developed in the project – One at a time for 2-4 weeks duration based on the course (100 teachers at a time)

How is it delivered? – Face-to-face – Online (future – to scale up) In dialog with Prof. Phatak to implement the “1000 teacher training model” – Challenges – Community building
