Homework Fulton County: 4 th grade = 50 minutes Excluding reading (30 mins/night), if homework takes more than an hour, STOP and let me know!

Absences and Tardies Please send a written note or email within 3 days of when your child is absent from school Students are counted tardy if they are not in the classroom by 7:40 a.m. Students with excessive tardies or unexcused absences will be referred to Mrs. Gray It is the student’s responsibility to request all make up work and to return to teacher in the same number of days the student was absent

Food Policies Breakfast and lunch is served daily. Prepay available. Notification of lunch charges are sent home. The maximum of charges allowed for students is $9.00. If this limit is reached, students will get an alternate meal (cheese sandwich and milk) Snacks Nutritious snacks that are easy to eat. We eat and work at the same time. PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF ALLERGIES IN CLASSROOMS! Birthdays Send invitations in the U.S. Mail. Our class celebrates birthdays on the last Wednesday of every month. Parents will be emailed and invited to bring in treats for their student. Please send individual treats with all serving supplies.

Safety and Visitors Students have practiced and are aware of all safety drills. Constant communication between staff and administration is practiced. All doors remain locked during the day All visitors must sign in at the front desk All volunteers must complete a “Volunteer Safety Information Form”

Communication Email is the best way to contact teachers. “Communication Folders” are sent home every other Friday with graded papers. These folders contain school information. Please review, sign, and return graded papers the following school day. All dismissal changes should be sent to the teacher in the morning. If you send an email throughout the day and the teacher does not respond, please call the school.
