13 LRE acts as intermediary between the travel trade industry and the brand/label Liberation Route Europe Tools are at the disposal of the tourism professionnals, as well as: Regional, national or transational tourism products on the WWII and liberation remembrance theme Themed and special products: hiking, cycling, school trips etc. Implementation of a network of tour operators on all relevant markets and segments. 21 Preliminary contacts around 3 storylines and 5 regions (so far): The Sicily Landing (Sicily Region) The Gustav Line (Abruzzo and Lazio Regions) The Gothic Line (Tuscany and Emilia Romagna Regions) Scope of first investigation

22 Two Levels: the whole country In order to catch up with the whole project by: Translating website and tools in Italian Adding Italian historical storylines and remembrance sites in our database Developing the tourism approach (packages, guides etc.) Formalize the cooperation between Italian organizations and the Liberation Route Europe Foundation

23 Based on the priorities of each region(s), different scenarios can be envisaged: The development of an broad project including audiospots, destination marketing development, communication strategy, regional network etc.? Keep the focus on promotion, marketing and travel trade, around a common brand (without audiospots network) Other projects can be added: touristic (hiking, cycling trails etc.), new technologies (virtual or augment reality, mobile apps etc.), education, commemorations etc. Two levels: Regional level
