3. << My big passion has always been to create jewels and that’s why I attended the goldsmith school in Milan. My jewels are unique pieces exclusively hand made in Italy using hard and semiprecious stones of highest quality, which are imported only from trusted suppliers, put together with a particular style and technique : jewelries for every day, accessories that make the difference, real deluxe bijoux. This is a “made in Italy “ history of absolute contemporary craftsmanship. I never draw : I sit down at a working table and I get my inspiration from stones. One idea leads to another: it is a real “ jewel’s atelier”. My clients are exclusive and all selected. They are the real well-off or wealthy ladies of Milan and Turin. I love intense colors, the ones which give you energy, the different tones of “black”, a wonderful ground, to enhance colored jewels. I have no rules in my creations, any color might be at the base of them. Usually I have in mind the main ones, then I work out the best combinations and I choose the right stones. My creations are like a jump in a candy shop, a cheerful temptation. Stones are like colored dreams: turquoise, ruby and emerald root, chrysoprace, prasiolite ( green amethyst), agate, amethyst, crystal rock, peridot, aquamarine, etc. >> Emanuela Sermidi, born in Milano in 1961; she hold a master degree in Business Administration from the Commercial University ‘Luigi Bocconi‘ in Milan on 1988. She passed the State certification exam, getting the title of Chartered Labor consultant. Married, with three children (19,13,12 years old) and a lovely Siberian cat.
