4 The construction of the platform includes standard long four I-beams HEB800 4 This construction of the platform give us three possibilities to movement: 1.on DELU air pads 2.Independly we can use special polymeric slippers without or with air pads 3.The Hilman Rollers- for this we need steel rails on the floor and lifting system for positioning hydraulic cylinder air pad slipper/support air supply hose

12 The construction with Hilman Rollers The construction with Hilman Rollers 12 It is posssible move Target Spectometer usinig four blocks of the Hilman Rollers. The Hilman Rollers could be located between I-beam so construction can be the same us for pads and sliders. It gives possibility to move only in one direction. The positiong x, z – direction will be huge challenge for this solution Rollers

18 Summary Air pads platform with plastic sliders Advantages: 1.Give possibility to move in three direction x,y,z 2.No deformation of the structure and low stress 3.Low contact pressure on floor 4.We don’t need to prepare channels in floor to mount (precisely machined) rails. Guidance for air pad platform can be mounted on floor. 5.We need the air pads only during moving, after that you can use the pads to move another load 6.It is possible to exchange plastic sliders made of plastic into steel ones if the Target Spectometer not move long time.
