The Research Resource Guide for Community Partners is a collaborative effort bringing together research coordinators at Johns Hopkins and community-based organizations in Baltimore The catalyst: – Research teams wanted to improve participant recruitment in current research studies – Community-based organizations were interested in engaging in research opportunities Introduction Introduction

The Research Resource Guide for Community Partners has two primary objectives: – To inform community based organizations and their clients about engagement opportunities in HIV, hepatitis, and tuberculosis research studies at Johns Hopkins University, and – To improve and diversify recruitment strategies for HIV, hepatitis, and tuberculosis research studies based at Johns Hopkins University. All Research Coordinators who contributed to the Guide should: – Notify us of changes made to your IRB approved fliers – Notify us if your study has ended recruitment or no longer needs to be advertised – Respond to monthly updates regarding the progress of your recruitment Tracking the number of participants Your Participation Your Participation
