1 In-State Tobacco Products Wholesale Dealer’s Report Updated October 2013

2 Log in using the username provided with registration and password

3 After logging in the home page will load. To file a new In-State Tobacco Products Wholesale Dealer’s Report, click on the link under File a New Report.

4 This is a screen shot showing the General Information page. Permit/license information fields will auto-populate.

5 The red arrows on this screen shot show the required fields. A month and year must be selected from the Reporting Period pull down menus. A selection of Yes or No must be selected from the Amended? pull down menu. Additionally, you must include the name of the person submitting the report in the Report Submitted By field.

7 Helpful Hint Save your report often. This helps guard against data loss and is considered a “best practice”.

8 Saving a Report To save the report click on the Summary tab.

9 Saving a Report Click on the Save for Later button.

10 Saving a Report After clicking the Save for Later button, a Confirmation page should appear. The saved report can be accessed via the Click here to view your saved Report link or from the Home or My Reports link in the EDS toolbar.

12 Transaction Type Overview Select the appropriate transaction type from the pull down menu

14 Select a Transaction Type from the pull down menu.

15 Enter the date of the transaction. You can also select the date from the calendar tool next to the date field. Enter invoice number and permit/license number. If you have the permit/license number, type it into the permit field and click on Lookup. EDS also has a feature where a supplier/purchaser can be searched for by name.

16 If a license/permit number cannot be located by using the Lookup feature please contact EDS support via email for assistance. EDS.Support@MYFLORIDALICENSE.COM

17 To Search By Name of Supplier/Purchaser Type the name of the supplier/purchaser into the Name of Supplier/Purchaser field and click on Lookup. A new window will open where a supplier/purchaser can be selected.

18 Enter the Wholesale Sales Price and click on the Add Transaction button.

19 A successfully recorded transaction will appear in the summary area at the bottom of the page. Once a transaction has been added, it cannot be edited. If it is in error, it should be deleted and entered properly.

20 Regarding permit numbers If recording Sales Out of State, a permit number is not required. If recording an Other Out transaction type, a permit number is not required.

21 Credits Updated October 2013 There is a Credits tab in EDS for recording credit data in the report

22 Enter the certificate of credit number and the excise or surcharge amount and click Add Credit NOTE: Do not try to combine excise and surcharge in the same entry They must be done separately as they should have different certificates

24 Completing the Report Once all transactions have been added, review the Summary page and click on Save once more.

25 After clicking the Save for Later button, a Confirmation page should appear. The saved report can be accessed via the Click here to view your saved Report link or from the Home or My Reports link in the EDS toolbar.

26 Review the data one more time in the report and click on the Submit Report button from the Summary page.

27 After report has been submitted, a confirmation page will appear. If this page does not appear, the report has not been successfully received by EDS. Please review the saved report again for any errors. If the report cannot be submitted due to technical issues, contact EDS Support via email.
