The history of the young enterprise and our results Young enterprise programme has been operating for almost 20 years in our school. 2003/2004 100. 000 € PHARE Project – Our aim was to popularise the program in the region. – 2004/2005 Naturally Inc. Ornaments made of straw National Competion in England – 2006/2007 Magic Inc. Magical tools, people’s belief/ superstitions National competiton in Denmark – In the past years we took a part in nation-wide competitions and the outcome was more than satisfying (2nd-4th place)

The aim of the program and its tasks The main goal: – get acquainted with the concept of a young enterprise. – learn how to establish an enterprise – The positive and negative sides of these enterprises At the end of the year, we liquidate the enterprise and everybody gets their own share depending on their investment into the corporation. Tasks: – Finding investors – Real manufacturing and realization Law background is handled by Junior Achievement Hungary

Our main goals Finding a segment on the market which has not been fully discovered and exploited. – Target audience: Housewives and those who seek gastronomical specialities. Healthy lifestyle – Popularising fruits and vegetables Marketing gastronomical specialities

Conservation Fruits’ conservation process: – Dzseem – Producing jams from seasonal fruits for stocking in warehouses and also selling them for public – Seasonal fruits can be bought at a low price – If we store fruits as jams the expiration date extends to years – Oven-ready – Transportable – Can be sold – Ready to eat

Production technologies -the materials- Seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables Products from Hungarian manufacturers Processing on the day of delivery Special flavours Local traditions = jams from popular fruits Use = not only popular fruits and vegetables, but exotic too.

Achievements Our first market was at the local festival. – „Kivilágos Kivirradtig” 2012. September 29. – We sold all the products which were in storage – Income: 39.000 HUF ( about 130 euros) – The price of the products: between 300-750 HuF ( 1-2,5 euros) We also entered the festival’s competition, where our Otello jam won the title of the most delicious jam.
