5. 1944 ● On June 16 th 1944 D- DAY of the invasion over Europe started the USA was trying to finish the war as fast as they could because if they kept fighting the more people were going to die and more children and dads were going to die during war.

6. 1945 ● Following the effect from polio Franklin Roosevelt died on April 12 th 1945. The Following the defeat over Germany the war soon ended on may 17 th 1945 after a lot of soldiers had died.

7. 1946 ● Finally after the war people expected to have wonderful life with their family and live peacefully without any war going around in the world.

8. 1947 ● Now in the 1947 the USA and the British wanted more goods, more products and more money so they. Then the USA wanted more supply to build more ships to travel to places.

9. 1948 ● Soon the fashion was starting to become more and more popular for people specially the teenagers in the city. Both the USA and British couldn't afford to build houses.

10. 1949 ● After many years of misery thought the depression and world war 2 post war prosperity is starting to get under way with companies now able to supply the cars,Televisions and other goods demanded in a consumer society.
